10/14/08: Sale closes October 15th. Please arrange to turn in your money and any unsold books ASAP. Once we have all this done, we can figure our how much profit we made, and we can give the free books out to those families who earned them. I will be at practice tomorrow night (Tuesday) from about 8 p.m. onward to assist with closing the sale.

10/9/08: The sale will be coming to a close on October 15th, so please get your undecided customers to buy and pay. I will have more books available at the football game Fri. night. Congrats to the 4 marching families who have sold over 20 books each so far - Charles T., Phillip L., Tony Y., and Tony S. Remember, for every 5 books you sell you get a free book after the sale. Let's keep selling so we reach our goal of 400 books sold!

Remember, each Book sells for $20. If we sell 400 Books, our profit margin is 50%, of which half goes to the BHSME General Fund and half goes to your marcher's individual account.

This year, we are asking each marcher to sell at least 4 books. We only have a month to complete the sales, so please get started right away talking to your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers.
(Hint: get several books from Gail to demonstrate what a great value it is.)

You can get out-of-town friends and relatives to support BHSME by ordering a book for their city through us (ask Gail for details).

These books have restaurant coupons, supermarket coupons, and lots more - if you use two offers, the book has paid for itself!
