Another Super-Easy Fundraising Opportunity

We can earn piles of money for BHSME by just doing our ordinary shopping! BHSME has registered with a company called "Escrip" which will track your purchases and automatically donate 1 - 5% to the Band.

Enrollment is a snap. Just visit www.escrip.com and click on Sign Up. This takes you to a secure website. Our Group Name is "Beaverton Band Boosters" - click on our group name (there is another Beaverton H.S. in Michigan - don't click on them!)

Hit "Next" and enter your name, address, etc. The pages after that will ask you to enter your Safeway loyalty card number, your major credit card numbers, your debit card number, and your Macy's card number. That's all there is to it. You can explore the website to see which businesses participate in the donations - I noticed Burger King and Garlic Jim's both contribute.

Even better, anyone can sign up to help BHSME! So if you have friends and family around the US send them this enrollment info so their purchases in their cities can generate funds for our marchers. What could be easier!

By the way, I signed myself up a few weeks ago to see if I would be deluged by email solicitations, and this has not happened. There are numerous schools, churches, teams, etc. in our area already enrolled in this program, some earning thousands of dollars per year without much effort. I think we have the potential to earn lots of money too if we all take a moment to get on board.
